BOND FAQ's
What is a bond? We have two bonds. A work bond and a uniform bond. Each bond is used as collateral to ensure a specific obligation is fulfilled.
What is a work bond, what are the requirements, and why? A work bond is an agreement between the Panthers and each family to perform a predetermined number of volunteer hours during the football season. The Panthers will provide volunteer opportunities through out the football season for families to sign up and help the program operate. A number of families ask why they must volunteer; volunteering is critical piece to the success of youth sports programs. What is an equipment bond, what are the requirements, and why? An equipment bond is an agreement between the Panthers and each family to ensure our uniforms are returned in the same condition as it was received. Uniforms must be returned back to the Panthers before or during equipment hand ins to ensure this bond check isn't cashed.
What form of payment is used to collect work and equipment bonds and will I get my money back? Cash, Check or a Credit Card Number is acceptable; with Check being preferred and the best option. In the case a Check is not available (some families don't use checks), Cash or a Credit Card Number will be accepted NO EXCEPTIONS (sorry we've been burned too many times in the past, especially with work bonds.) Checks and Cash will be given back at the end of the season so long as the obligations has been completed.
